This is a wonderful authentic Martial Arts school. From the moment I took the trial lesson I knew I was in the right place. It was exactly what I was looking for. A school with a passionate teacher (Sifu David) that passes on his valuable knowledge in a compassionate, individualized manner, adjusted to each student's level, strengths and weaknesses. A great leader that inspires you to strive to reach your goals and gets the best out of you. The students are welcoming and very helpful. They share their knowledge as well and support you in your path. It's a wonderful community. The perfect place to learn Tai Chi and Kung Fu from a body, mind and spirit perspective. Highly recommended!

SiFu David Block provides excellent, personal instruction to Tai Chi students at all levels, from beginner to advanced. His patience to meet each student at his/her individual level is especially impressive. We have learned so much, and more importantly, have developed strength, balance, & mental acuity that we didn't have prior to our Tai Chi classes.

I’ve been taking classes here for a year. Sifu David Block is an excellent teacher. He cares about and guides each student. I’ve done mostly zoom classes, since Covid-19, but am still learning, benefitting, and growing. There is also ample opportunity to attend socially distanced classes and practice in the park. I really enjoy getting outside for class when I can. I highly recommend The Phoenix and Dragon.

Sifu Block has deep knowledge of Chinese Martial Arts, both external (shaolin kung fu) and internal (Tai Chi, Bagua, Hsin Yi). He is an excellent teacher who really cares about his students. He makes each class interesting and I always look forward to the next class as soon as one class ends! This school has an impressive lineage. I would highly recommend Sifu and The Phoenix And Dragon school to anyone interested in learning authentic kung fu and/or tai chi!!!

This is an amazing school that teaches traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and tai chi, not only that, but the students are very kind and respectful. Anyone would be lucky to learn martial arts from this school.
