Great liquor store in the neighborhood! The last few times I've been I've gotten ingredient recommendations from Rina and my espresso martinis, paper planes, and spritzes are WAY better than before, with some great wine on the side 🙂

I just want to say, the owner is so awesome. A few months ago she greeted me warmly and allowed me to taste a few of her hand selected single barrel bourbons. Her hand selected Makers Mark Wood Finished Series barrel is EXCEPTIONAL. I’m from Kentucky and know a bit about the stuff - This is easily one of the best examples of this series and she’s selling it at a bargain. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these bottles and introduce yourself to her.

I’ve been regularly buying their wines and liquors here for more than 20 years. In 1999, they had to have bullet proof glass at register but that came down years ago. Great selection. Clean and orderly. The staff is very helpful, and courteous and I’ve never had one issue with them. I’ll shop here as long as they’re in business.

My experience at Mei Chi Liquors was a truly exceptional and phenomenal one! Namely thanks to Mr. DWAYNE McEWEN! This is an outstandingly knowledgeable and passionate young man that any business and establishment would be blessed and lucky to have working for them and serving their customers!

I was in the market for a particularly delicious and smooth Cognac, and in my search and inquires he proceeded to give an extensive history lesson about the origins of particular Cognacs, the distinctions between them and other liquors, particular positive effects it has on the body, and what it does for you. THIS MAN IS A WALKING ENCYCLOPEDIA ON HIS SUBJECT! A genuine expert and professional. I sincerely felt his enthusiasm while he talking to me about everything. This Man is dedicated to his craft and is always looking to learn more and more his professional field. A CHAMPION! You can just tell!

For all of my liquor needs and inquires I will certainly be becoming back to this establishment and will be seeking out THIS MAN!

This is my favorite place to buy wine and spirits. Dwayne is one of the nicest people around, and the entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. The store also has an interesting selection of unusual products, and the prices are terrific. Love, love, love this store.

Mei Chi is the best wine store in the area, fantastic selection and the best prices. The staff know theirs wines and I have never gone wrong with their recommendations. Wonderful custom service and delivery always prompt. This is the only wine store in Park Slope I use.

Found a bottle of scotch (The Macallan Classic Cut 2017 release for $109.99 and showed only 1 bottle left) on their website (A.K.A. Brooklyn Cellars) and MADE the credit card payment online on 8/29/18 (right before Labor Day weekend). The next day, I communicated with the store and let them know that I will pick up the bottle in few days. After two days, the store owner, Andrea Fang sent me an email and noticed me that she has canceled my order because I haven’t pick up the bottle yet. If you go to their website, there is no indication or any kind of information that customer must pick up the bottle in certain days or the order will be canceled. It’s 100% based on what the seller likes to do. All communications were made through emails and I never got their phone call once. There was no heads up or communication before canceling the order.

If you were the business owner and your customer placed the order and made the payment, what are the reasons the seller wanted to cancel the order? The true reason was she could sell the same bottle to the next buyer for a higher price (its now listed for $129.99 on their website as of 9/13/18; price increased by 18.18%). This is NOT ethical and it’s not acceptable for consumer. I didn’t even bother to argue or complaint to her and not recommend to do business with this store.
