Great school. The school has a good variety of classes that can help with expanding your martial arts knowledge. All the instructors I've trained with so far have been very good and knowledgeable.

The variety of classes offered is something I find beneficial for becoming a more well-rounded martial artist.

You get a great workout too. The sparring class is fun!

East Cloud is a true gem of the Triangle. I've been training here for the past three months in the Mon/Wed Light Sparring and Grappling (Shuai Jiao), and it's been amazing. As a massage therapist I've had to be careful with the combative arts as getting injured might affect my profession, so I've really appreciated the way classes are held with the right amount of intensity and reality to challenge my skills with less risk of injury.

Besides that, the atmosphere of family and the way all the teachers here wove me into their classes is the true reason I continue to return. I am so grateful this place exists, thank you!

I've been training here for about 3 and half years and I still look forward to every class. All the instructors are so knowledgeable and supportive. It's both a great workout and chance to learn a wide variety of Chinese martial arts.

Imari and the rest of the instructors work hard to make sure the classes are accessible and affordable for everyone. That's probably why the classes for adults and teens have people in them from 13 all the way up to their 70s!

I'm never intimated by asking questions or seeking advice to help improve. We travel all the way from Clayton, NC every week to send my 8 & 10 year old to learn from coach Imari and her team. I can't express enough how impressive the lessons are- my kids get an amazing work out, play fun games, learn new skills and push their bodies to try new things! Coach Imari leads with a gentle but firm hand- she holds her students to a high standard, and it shows in the results. This school frequently does demonstrations around the triangle- I encourage you to check it out for yourself! One of the reasons I was really drawn to this particular center is that overall well-being (mental and physical) are at the forefront of their practice and mission. A++++++

Highly recommend going to East Cloud! I've been going here for almost a year (December 2022-November 2023) Incredibly happy that I made the decision to sign up for the taichi class! The teachers are nice. The director is nice and VERY helpful! There are meditation sessions 🙂 East Cloud really does give off positive vibrations and a positive energy!

I joined East Cloud with no prior experience in stand-up martial arts, with the intent to get fit post-pandemic and meet folks after I moved to the area. I was blown away by how welcoming Master Imari and her students were at the school. East Cloud is a big family, and I'm so thankful to Master Imari for bringing me into the fold. Wushu practice is intense and you WILL get your butt kicked into shape. I highly recommend anyone interested in Chinese martial arts, whether it be traditional or wushu, give East Cloud a try!

Great physical fitness training in a positive atmosphere. My children have been attending classes here for 3 years. They have learned wushu (empty hand and weapons) and made good friends. Even though they work hard, they never want to miss class.
