For several years now, my wife and I have been frequent visitors to Chi Spa, and it’s high time we shared our exceptional experiences with the world. My friend and I have both been stressed, I actually had a headache, after days of having a migraine. After lunch we decided a massage could help both of us. I googled places around us, and surprisingly there was one next door. I didn’t read the reviews, but I saw it was rated well.

I called and booked a 90 minute massage based off what I was reading on their website. The woman I spoke to asked if we wanted the couples room, I asked my friend and she said yes that’s fine then we can spend more time together (since we had not seen each other in almost a year)

The room had two certificates on the wall for 600 hours of massages completed. But these were not the individuals that provided the massages. My certificate on the wall for an Asian woman and my masseuse was Hispanic. I don’t believe she spoke English very well because she was unable to follow my directions after I asked her multiple times to apply more pressure on my Neck and shoulders due to my headache. She would pull out my arms and leave them there, The room was freezing and I was shaking. I was so cold. My 10-year-old cousin can give better massages. For 90 minutes, she barely pressed on my body, It seems as if she had never done a massage in her life, and she was forced to do one. She pressed so hard on my temples, and I asked her to stop. I could hear my friend as well asking her not to do whatever it was that she was doing. She rubbed my feet for About 30 seconds but just kept spinning my ankles and pulling at my toes. She barely touched my calves, and she did not touch my upper legs at all. She rubbed my arms over and over again when I was on my back and flipped over. I actually have bruises on them today.

Every time I would put my arms or legs back in the blanket because I was cold, she would pull my arms out and leave them there. The little cylinder pillow that is supposed to go under your legs, was at the bottom of my feet. The entire massage.

We were getting dressed I asked her how her massage was, and she said this woman was not a professional, and it was probably one of the worst massages she has ever received, I agree she was digging her elbow into my spine. We both feel worse than we did going in. This is not my first massage and it will not be my last, but I will never go back to this salon.

When we went to check out, they charged us $295. When I questioned this price and what it was for they took out a piece of paper and showed us what the couples massage was. I did not have a couples massage exfoliate, or any of the other products that were listed. We both simply had the sweetest massage which was listed on their website. I showed her the website which was still open on my phone. She called the woman I had booked the appointment, which I assume is the owner. She told me we never discussed and they’re charging the correct amount, I stated the correct amount is not $295 because we did not have all of the services provided. She then quickly stated you are correct. It was not a couples massage. It was the sweetest massage which again the price she listed in the piece of paper she handed us is not the same as their website.

After pointing this out to her, She stated that the website is not accurate and that the piece of paper is the new updated prices. However, when we walked in the immediately took us back without discussing anything. I asked for a tax invoice for the massage so I could send it to my doctor because I need to provide those anytime. I get one done for my migraines. They could not even provide that to me and stated the owner would email it to me in the morning, I have waited 48 hours and I have not received it. This is not a legitimate spa. I caution, anyone from here. It’s like they pulled some people off the streets to do our massages. This was the most unprofessional place I have ever been.

On a side note, We also asked to use the restroom before our 90 minute massage and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. And none to be found anywhere else, But there was tons of paper towels.

I would not recommend getting a pedicure here, I'm extremely disappointed. I made it very clear I did NOT want my nails cut short but wouldn't mind them trimmed a little bit as they had gotten long. She cut them as short as possible to the point where they hurt. My feet look absolutely disgusting now, she also completely changed the shape and did not listen to a word I said. I also felt rushed in picking a color and ended up with a color I was not satisfied with. However, this was just one nail tech. I wish I had got her name because I left extremely upset, but have been in the past and had nail techs who listened. I just don't feel like I can ever come back to Chi Spa when I was left with such a horrendous pedicure. My feet still hurt and it's quite red around my nails so I'm hoping not to get an infection.

I have been coming here on and off for about 10 years when I wanted to treat myself to a pedicure. I started to come on a regular basis over the last few months now. Jennifer has done my pedicure the last three times and she does such a great job. I just left there today and my feet look and feel amazing. They are always extremely accommodating when I call for a last minute appt and everyone is very welcoming and friendly.

My daughter and I have been here twice. They treated my little girl like a princess. Early Thursday afternoons have been the times of our visits. My daughter had almost the entire staff to herself. Knowledgeable and friendly. I will be taking her back soon.
